A Sonic Performance in the IAA Architecture Gallery

A sonic performance by three artists responding to the current exhibition “Atrium” in the Architecture Gallery of the Irish Architectural Archive. This is a durational performance and the audience are invited to enter and leave the space as they wish.

The Irish Architectural Archive reading room will close at 12 noon on Wednesday 23 December 2015. The reading room will reopen at 10 am on Tuesday 5 January 2016. Otherwise normal hours apply: 10 am to 5 pm, Tuesdays to Fridays.

The Irish Architectural Archive is participating in Culture Night again this evening, and is delighted to be partnering the Irish Times as part of Downstairs Dublin on Merrion Square.

The Archive’s latest exhibition opens to the public on 11 September 2015 and runs in the Architecture Gallery until 31 October 2015. For more see here.
Saturday 29 August is Merrion Square Open Day. The Archive will be open from 10am to 5pm for guided tours of the largest terraced house on Merrion
Square and an opportunity to see St Patrick’s Cathedral: an architectural exhibition in the Architecture Gallery and the T.J. Byrne exhibition on the first floor. For the rest of the day’s activities see the programme or visit www.merrionsquare.ie.
